Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of Tenet (the "Service"), operated by Tenet ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

2. The Service

Tenet is a runtime governance layer for AI agents: you route your agent's tool calls through Tenet, which applies your policies (cost caps, approval gates, and protections), records a tamper-evident audit log, and executes approved calls using credentials you connect. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2a. Beta

The Service is currently in beta. It is under active development, may change or break, and may contain bugs or incomplete features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without liability. We make no uptime, availability, or data-retention guarantees during beta, and you should not rely on the Service as your sole control or system of record for high-stakes operations. Use appropriate caution when governing production systems.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and the credentials you connect. Keep them secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to breach security or access controls, or to govern systems you are not authorized to operate. You are responsible for the actions your agents take through the Service, including approved tool calls.

5. Plans, fees & billing

A free tier is available with usage limits. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). All fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and unused capacity, except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods. You can cancel any time; access continues through the end of the period you have paid for, and is not pro-rated.

5a. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for any purpose, including to build and improve our products, without any obligation or compensation to you. Feedback is not your confidential information.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of your data. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service (e.g., to store decision records and execute the calls you authorize).

7. Disclaimers & liability

Tenet enforces the policies you configure but does not guarantee that any particular action is safe, correct, or compliant. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends; certain provisions survive (e.g., fees owed, disclaimers).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
